Carpella is operated by Yosef Abraham as a sole trader. This privacy policy explains how Carpella collects and uses personal information when you contact us, request a quotation or use our services.

Information we collect

We may collect information including your name, telephone number, email address, postcode, service requirements, information you provide about stains or items requiring cleaning, photographs you choose to upload, and communications relating to your enquiry or booking.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, arrange and provide our services, communicate with you about your booking, maintain appropriate business and financial records, deal with questions or complaints, and operate and improve our customer service.

Information submitted for a quotation will not automatically be used to sign you up for marketing communications.

Photographs

Photographs submitted through our quote form are used to assess your enquiry, prepare your quotation and, where relevant, assist with providing the requested service.

We will not use photographs submitted for quotation purposes in our website, advertising or marketing simply because they have been uploaded through the quote form. Where we wish to use customer photographs for promotional purposes, we will obtain appropriate separate permission.

Who we share information with

We may use trusted service providers that help us operate Carpella, such as website and data-hosting providers, email providers and, where applicable, business administration, accounting or customer-management systems.

We only disclose information where reasonably necessary for operating the business, providing our services, complying with legal obligations or protecting our legal rights.

How long we keep information

We aim to keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected.

As a general guide:

We may delete or anonymise information sooner where it is no longer required.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, data-protection law gives you rights in relation to your personal information, which may include rights to request access to your information, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, request deletion or restriction in certain circumstances, object to certain uses of your information, and raise a concern about how your information is being handled.
